By training, I’m a chemical engineer, by passion I’m using my skills to help the energy transition. As a researcher, my main goal is to develop decision support methods for engineers who have to design the future energy systems, this implies integrating system integration knowledge and technology innovation to take decisions that contribute to the sustainable transition.

In my professional life, I am a professor at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland leading the Industrial process and energy systems engineering research group at the energypolis campus in Sion. researcher focusing on decarbonization, renewable energy systems, and integrated processes and energy systems.
